Robert Palmer

Robert Palmer, RN, founded Palmer’s Home Care in Columbia, Missouri, in 2009 with a vision of providing high-quality, person-centered supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through his leadership, the organization has remained focused on helping individuals achieve greater independence, dignity, and meaningful participation in their communities.

In 2022, Robert expanded that vision with the establishment of Mid-Missouri Supported Living, further increasing access to residential and community-based services throughout Mid-Missouri. Together, Palmer’s Home Care and Mid-Missouri Supported Living provide a continuum of supports designed to empower individuals, promote self-determination, and enhance quality of life.

Robert’s commitment to compassionate care, strong community partnerships, and person-centered services continues to guide both organizations as they support individuals in living fulfilling and independent lives.
