Community Day Programs

Our Columbia day program is a dynamic, fully integrated community resource where individuals build real-world skills, develop authentic peer relationships, and pursue personal goals.

Mid-Missouri Supported Living's day program serves Columbia and Boone County. Our programs are not facility-based or center-confined — they are active, community-integrated programs where individuals go out, connect, and build real skills in real settings.

Each day is different. Participants work toward goals identified in their Individual Service Plan (ISP), with a mix of structured skill-building, community outings, vocational activities, and social opportunities. Staff support development of practical life skills — from cooking and money handling to communication, self-care, and workplace readiness — in ways that reflect each person's own goals and interests.

MMSL day programs are designed to complement other supports. Many participants also receive Residential Services or Community Networking hours, creating a full, integrated weekly schedule. Programs are open to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who hold an active DD Waiver with Day Program authorization. Contact us to ask about availability.
